Check service reports

Technicians use the App "pobvol Service Board" on a tablet/PC/Mac to check service reports.

Incorrect data is corrected in the app and a new service report is requested. The check continues as soon as the new report has been created by a Power Automate flow. The flow takes about 30 seconds to create the new report.

If everything is correct, the report is approved. This helps the team to see which reports have been checked. In addition, if approved, a reminder for the next check / inspection / maintenance is created and - if activated - an email is automatically sent to the customer via a flow.

The following charts are available on the app's home screen:



Unapproved service reports


On the home screen of the app 'pobvol Service Board' scroll down to 'Unapproved service reports'. The chart shows in a pie chart how many reports are approved or not approved as a percentage. The goal is of course 100% approved.

By clicking on the pie chart, the unauthorized service reports are listed.

To filter the list, simply enter a search term in the search field. The reports in which the search term is found will then be displayed. The service date, service time in m/yy format, service type, status, customer name, customer location, customer number, manufacturer, device type and inventory number are checked.

The list is sorted by service date ascending/descending and customer name ascending.


Sorting: Clicking this icon changes the sorting of the list from ascending to descending and vice versa.

Refresh: Clicking this icon reloads the data.

Badge: is displayed when badges have been activated by the admin for the service type and device type, green: granted, red: not granted

Approved: green: approved, red: not approved

Reminder: is displayed when reminders have been activated by the admin for the service type and device type, green: created, red: not created

Email to customer: green: sent, red: not sent (remains red if the report has not been approved or no email address is known or if the Power Automate flow has not been activated)

By clicking on an entry, the corresponding service report is displayed in the PDF viewer.

Zoom factor: Use the + and - icons to change the zoom factor.

Download: Click this icon to download the document. The PDF file is saved in the standard download folder, depending on the local settings on the device.

Delete: Click this icon to delete the report. Only displayed if the report is not approved. Only the entry in the SharePoint (SP) list 'Serviceberichte' is deleted; the file remains on the SP.

Edit: Click this icon to enter the edit mode. Only displayed if the report is not approved.

Approval flag: A report can be approved or not approved.

Please check the service report. You must correct any incorrect data in the service activity and request a new report. If everything is OK, you should approve the report.
